Christmas Tree Branches Turning Brown. We planted a small christmas tree in the garden about 16 years ago and it is now about 12 ft high but from the centre to about 1ft out the needles have turned brown is the tree dying. To get rid of these perfectly normal but still possibly carpet messing brown needles.
